Hi, I'm Gracey Mulvaney. I'm a photographer based in Portland, Oregon and I've always been the "friend behind the camera". Ive loved photography for as long as I can remember, but I realized I wanted to turn it into a career after attending a friends wedding and seeing the photographer work. I realized I could turn my passion into a career, I was in school pursuing my commercial photography degree 3 weeks later.
I love where I live. Portland is such a unique place to grow up with its greenery and the intense seasons. It has a culture where people really feel free to be themselves. That energy is something I carry into my work.
Outside of photography, I spend most of my time with my 2 dogs, a Pomeranian and a Shih-tzu, and my cat. I also have an amazing partner who's a chef and were both really passionate about what we do creatively. Its one of my favorite parts of our relationship.
I believe photos are the most important way we hold onto memories and I love creating images that people can truly feel connected to for years to come.
